Q: What is Hold True Recordings, and what are you guys about?
A: More than just a record label, Hold True Recordings is becoming both a dominant force in the New England music scene and a medium for positive change and self betterment. Since 2004 Hold True Recordings has been working to restore the New England aggressive music scene by doing several things:

1. Hold True Recordings only signs bands and artists from the New England area, especially bands who carry a message of self empowerment, self-respect, and self-betterment.

2. We have been very active in breaking down the negative stereotypes that society has placed on our music and us as its fans. To do this, Hold True Recordings has taken the lead among all other local record labels by promoting benefit shows, holding food drives, performing Public Service Announcements, and raising awareness for our military veterans and their families who cannot afford basic necessities like food.

3. To date, Hold True Recordings and its bands and artists have collected and donated hundreds of pounds of food for local veterans and charities. We have also brought about awareness on legal issues that effect freedom of speech and expression, and we have worked to restore venues that would have otherwise closed their doors to our music scene.

Band Questions:

Q: Will you guys sign my band?
A: Only if we like you. Please keep in mind we are super picky, so if we say no, please don’t take it personaly. Please also note that we only take press kits from New England bands who play aggressive music (Metal, Hardcore, Grind, etc…).

Q: My band has this wicked sick EPK, who can we email it to?
A: Someone else!! Sorry but we HATE those things. We do however LOOOOVE the old fashion kind you mail at the post office.

Q: I saw you guys are doing a show, can my band play?
A: Most of our events are planned out way ahead of time, so generally they are booked before being posted, so unless we post an opening, probably not, but you are still welcome to ask!!

Order Questions:

Q: What do you charge for shipping?
A: We do not charge shipping, unless outside the US.

Q: How long will my order take to get to me?
A: Delivery times will vary, but normally arrive within 10 business days.
